Correction
In the article titled "To serve our own people" on page 8 of the
Sunday Observer issue of 24.08.08, the caption of the picture has been
inadvertently read as Vavuniya District Secretary, S. Shanmugam, whereas
it should have been "Commissioner General of Essential Services, S. B.
Divaratne."
The error is regretted.
