Chief Minister's office get three titles

BADMINTON: Officers of the Chief Minister's office scored a treble when they won three championships at the Central Province Women's Badminton Championships at the Peradeniya University Gymnasium. 20 to 30 age group: Champion E. Ekanayake (Chief Minister's office), 1st runner-up: D. Jayasinghe (Ministry of Industries), 2nd runner-up: R. Rajapakse (Chief Minister's office).

30 to 40 age group: Champion: M. Wijesinghe (Chief Minister's office), 1st runner-up: J. Salwatuarachchi (Health Department), 2nd runner-up: C. Wijeratne (Chief Minister's office).

40 to 50 age group: Champion: L. Karunanayake (Chief Minister's office), 1st runner-up: C. Molegoda (Chief Secretariat), 2nd runner-up: S. Mihindukulasuriya (Health Department).
