CMC: Dial 115 for complaints

The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has introduced a special
telephone number and a customer service unit to ratepayers and others
who visit the city.
Complaints or suggestions could be made to the CMC by dialling 115,
the special telephone number allotted for the purpose.
The information received would be directed to the particular
department of the Colombo Municipal Council for necessary action.
The special commissioner H. Sumanapala has advised all heads of
departments in the CMC to pay special attention to complaints and
suggestions. The Customer Service Unit has been functioning since
January 1 on week days except special holidays and weekends.
