ACBT's program substitute for ALs

ACBT's popular University Foundation Program (UFP) has been recognised as the first qualification to be accepted as an equivalent substitute to the G.C.E. A/L; with the Australian government treating it as an eligibility criteria for student visas to Australia.

"On completion of ACBT's University Foundation Program, a student is eligible to apply for a student visa to Australia which is approved by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs of Australia (DIAC)", said Dr. Thilakaratne, Director ACBT. "This is a great boom to Sri Lankan students, not just to fast-track their education but to seek greater opportunities in Australia if they desire.

Now, a student's future need not stop at O/L or even A/L. With this international opportunity Sri Lankan students can fully exploit their potential here in Sri Lanka, Australia or any other country", said Dr. Thilakaratne.

All academic programs at ACBT are offered in association with Edith Cowan University of Western Australia (ECU). As part of stringent Australian government regulations, all ECU academic courses are registered with the Australian government's Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students, internationally known as CRICOS.
