Tata Nano to hit Sri Lanka market


The much talked world’s lowest priced passenger car, Tata Nano would be available in Sri Lanka by end of the year. Tata Motors launched the world’s smallest car, the Tata Nano last week. General Manager of Diesel and Motor Engineering Company (DIMO) agents for Tata vehicles in Sri Lanka, Ajitha Perera said.

Landmark cochlear surgery at LRHC

 

A new page was turned in the country’s medical history yesterday morning with the successful performance of the first ever Bone Anchored Hearing Aid (BAHA) surgery on the five-year-old Kavishaka Dilshan Nikapitiya, who was born with deformity in both the ears at the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital (LRHC).
