Peterites take Archbishop Twenty20 Cup

St.Peter's won the inaugural Archbishop Twenty20 Cup when they beat
St. Benedict's by 8 wickets in the final played under lights at the
R.Premadasa Stadium, Khettarama yesterday.
The Bens batting first were able to muster only 61 runs in 18.4 overs.
The Peterites reached the victory target in 10.3 overs with ease. Angelo
Perera and Shivanga Ranasuriya remained unbeaten on 14. While opener
Andrie Berenger top scored with 26.
The Benedictines lacked the fire power to compete with a superior
outfit and the contest turned out to be a one sided affair.
