Millennium Boys as they call themselves comprise singers Amila and Chabi who are keen on spreading their music amongst today's youth. Last week they organised the free concert 3G Party at Keel's Super, Wattala giving opportunities for several groups and singers to perform.

Shabina Perera (Chabi) hails from Kandy and had her schooling at Kandy High School, but as she tells us, was always keen on music and entertainment. She is into hip-hop composes her songs with rap done by Amila. At their recent 3G Party they featured many up and coming groups and singers.

They were B-Side, New Folder, Stringz, Spin Circute, Sencertive and singers included Gayantha, Thikshana, Gimantha and Amal.On the other hand Amila who runs his own Music Entertainment is now associated with the many live musical telecasts on Sirasa and has spent about ten years in Malaysia and Singapore singing and making music presentations.

Both Amila and Chabi say that they draw their influences from, Bathiya N Santhush, 50 Cents, Snoop Doggy Dog and Shaggy. They hope to release a new CD and continue with commitment, the presentation of more musical shows for today's youth.
