Upananda Jayasundara - Kandy Sports Special

HOCKEY: University of Moratuwa and University of Peradeniya won the women's and men's championships respectively at the Inter-University Seven-a-Side Day/Night Hockey Tournament conducted by the Physical Department of the University of Peradeniya headed by Arosha Perera, Director of Physical Education on April 7. In the finals Moratuwa Campus beat Jayawardanapura Campus by 1 goal to nil to win the women's championship. In the men's tournament, Jayawardanapura beat Moratuwa 1-0 in one semi-final.
