Dinesh back as Editor of Sunday Observer

Veteran media personality Dinesh Weerawansa assumed duties as the Chief Editor of the 'Sunday Observer' with effect from April 21.

He had functioned in the same capacity from 2006 to December, 2008 before moving over to our sister newspaper - the Daily News as Associate Editor.

A product of Royal College, Colombo and the University of Athens (IOA), Mr. Weerawansa is a career journalist with over 23 years of experience at the ANCL, holding various editorial positions at the Daily News and the Sunday Observer. He has also served as a radio and television presenter cum commentator of several programs.
