The annual flower show organised by the Nuwara Eliya Municipal
Council during the April festivities season drew large crowds who were
enthraled by the exotic cut flowers which were on show at the Victoria
Park, Nuwara Eliya.
The crowds were amazed by the fact that such
beautiful flowers with diverse colours ever existed in Sri Lanka. These
flowers are a common sight in most of the gardens in 'Little England' as
Nuwara Eliya is known.
