A team of Institution of Engineering Technology (IET) Sri Lanka Network Officials met President Mahinda Rajapaksa recently to present the award received from UK.

The President congratulated the Event Organiser - K.N. Gunawardena and the Team of Engineering Professionals and appreciated continuous action taken by IET Sri Lanka Network to participate in the Competition.

He recognised the efforts by the Members for popularising a wide variety of technological fields among Sri Lankan community through Radio Talks as a praiseworthy activity.

The President briefed the members to develop this series of `Radio Talks' in Tamil medium more frequently.IET - Chairman N.A.G. Senanayake explained the other regular activities of IET Sri Lanka Network to the President.
