Colombo Dockyard targets US $ 100 m turnover
The Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC) recorded a
turnover of Rs. 3.9 billion last year despite a challenging global
business environment and it is targeting US $ 100 million in the
next ten years, said Managing Director, CDPLC, Mangala Yapa.

BoC to open exchange house in Italy
The Bank of Ceylon the premier public sector
bank in Sri Lanka will open its own exchange house in Italy shortly.
Deputy General Manager, International and Treasury H.M.A.B.
Weerasekera said that all groundwork has been done and the bank is
confident that we can have our own exchange house in Italy in the
near future.
