AAP celebrates 4th anniversary

The Academy for Administrative Professionals will be celebrating its 4th year with a series of activities, coinciding with the International Administrative Professionals Week 2009 celebrations.

The first move was "A New Profile for Administrative Professional" seminar/workshop held at Cinnamon Grand Hotel.

Amidst the training arranged, there is the awards ceremony and the annual members induction to be held on May 25th, 2009 at the Hotel Hilton, Prof. Carlo Fonseka will be the chief guest at this event.

The Academy conducts courses in secretaryship and administrative practices in other languages English for the office professionals as well as basic, intermediate and advanced English. Courses in Tamil both spoken and written are to commence soon the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Private Secretaries Diploma (LCCI) also will commence shortly.

Despite the many negative perceptions administrative professionals face today, the highly motivated and energetic AAP team concludes that "It is all in the mind". The Academy believes that the AAP can contribute towards the national development through training the administrative professional reach higher levels of competency in a chosen administrative career, through a series of courses, and seminars/workshops.
