English for Moulavis islandwide

Peace and harmony among all ethnic groups and religions is a must for the integrity of the country, said Western Provincial Councillor Mohan Lal Grero at a ceremony at the Lyceum International School, Nugegoda to start a free English language course for Muslim Moulavis islandwide.

This is the result of an appeal made by the Muslim Maulavis to the Mohan Lal Grero Foundation. More than 250 Moulavis were present at the inaugural session held at Lyceum International School recently.

The classes will be held on every Sunday at the Lyceum International school, Nugegoda from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Any Moulavi who wishes to attend the class can apply to the English for Moulavis, Mohan Lal Grero Foundation, 18, Peter's Road, Nugegoda or contact on telephone 2007302246.
