Fast and Furious Action! Get ready for fast-paced adrenaline pumping action when ‘Fast & the Furious 4’ is screened this weekend at Majestic Cinema.

Catch Vin Diesel in action as Dominic “Dom” Toretto in this car-racy flick, which has grossed $130.6 million in the United States so far, having opened just last month worldwide. Diesel, who did not make an appearance in the last two movies of ‘The Fast & The Furious’ franchise, also served as one of the movie’s producers.

Speaking to a leading media company AT&T about his producing experience, he said, “It was incredible, and Universal (Studios) was so generous to let us shoot in the Dominican Republic. There is a film school there and we were able to use students as crew for the film. It allowed me to shape the direction of the movie and be more accountable. It made me raise the bar and do what I can to make others shine”.

About the movie, Vin said, “It was not the best film but I did appreciate being able to continue the first movie’s story with integrity”. . About the success of the film, Vin said, “The $6 billion worldwide was not expected at first. It just happened and it was a surprise to me. We just wanted the films to be an escape for viewers for two hours.

Making million of dollars was not the objective at first”. He also said that the best part about the coming back to franchise was the character (Dom Toretto) as he wanted the audience to anticipate where he is going and how he matures and changes in the five years that he was away from the movie and that the storyline was kept consistent.

“I also enjoyed working with the original cast. Having the whole cast and restoring relationships of the first movie was mandatory” he concluded.

X-men Mania! is Hitting Liberty Cinema already, the ‘X-men Origins’, the film about Wolverine’s life is causing a craze with cinema-goers. After the fanfare that Hugh Jackman stirred both home and abroad with the success of ‘Australia’, he just isn’t giving up as he comes back as Wolverine in ‘X-men Origins’.

As host of the 2009 Academy Awards, the Australian actor proved that he was far more than just another pretty face. He had been chosen as *People* magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive the previous November, but in a ceremony that drew rave reviews, he showcased his skills as a premiere song-and-dance man.

Jackman said that to get in shape for the movie, he worked out, drank protein shakes and ate meat at every meal, chowing down every three hours and waking up at 3:30 a.m. for more. He did all that during the shoot for 2008 epic “Australia,” which got director Baz Luhrmann worried as his star actor started looked bulkier from one scene to the next.
