Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf put on a show! The Transformers co-stars are causing a frenzy with their supposed romances.

Now that Transformers is a box office hit, Megan Fox and her on again, off again on again fiance Brian Austin Green are together.

Not even a month after she claimed herself "single," the couple have reconciled with a romantic weekend in Las Vegas and they were later joined by Megan's sister and boyfriend.

Megan hinted at a romance with her Transformers co-star Shia LaBeouf while they were doing their promotional rounds. They were spotted having dinner together in downtown, NYC while promoting Transformers giving up their Los Angeles screening to have dinner at La Bruschetta restaurant in Westwood.

So was this all a PR stunt to help the movie boost ticket sales? Whether the Megan and Shia hook up was legit or a scam one thing for sure-a girl as gorgeous as Megan won't stay single for long. Megan, who has been dating Brian on and off since 2006 once admitted that the single life isn't for her. "I'm nervous about being single. It's very scary. I'm looking for a guy who's really honest and funny," she was reported to have said.

On the plus side, in a box office rarity, two films have tied for the top slot for the first time in history.

According to studio estimates, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs collected $42.5 million in its debut weekend (and $67.5 ml since opening last Wednesday). Similarly, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen this weekend added an estimated $42.5 ml to its own coffers. Check out Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen at Majestic Cinema!

Ice Age was created by our Asian. It's no secret anymore that it was a Singaporean whiz kid who created the Ice Age creatures. Melvin Tan, 32, a senior animator at Connecticut's Blue Sky Studios, where the movie was animated, is the guy behind characters like Manny the mammoth and Sid the sloth.

However, his fondly-known character are the three loveable Tyrannosaurus Rex babies in the blockbuster, which cost US$90 million (S$131 million) to produce.

The Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Academy of Art (San Francisco) graduate told: 'Animating involves knowing your characters from head to toe and understanding the technical aspects of each one.

I was also the go-to guy for other animators who had questions about the characters.' Manny, voiced by comedian Ray Romano, was 'fun' to animate because 'he is so big and his body moves differently from the rest', Tan said.

Tan, who is married to a Taiwanese housewife and with whom he has a one-year-old daughter, Layla, has also worked on movies like Robots (2005) and Horton Hears A Who! (2008).'Layla's still a bit too young to appreciate my work,' he said with a laugh.'But when she gets older I'll definitely show her the films,' he added.

While he's keeping future projects under wraps he says that he is concentrating on 'observing the behaviour of things to see what makes them real'. 'That's what I aim to convey to my audience through animation,' he said.'

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' has made $1.87 million in Singapore since the opening date and has taken in over US$ 218 million worldwide.
