CRICKET: Sri Lanka Lawyers Cricket Team led by Binara Gunasekera will
play in the Lawyers Cricket World Cup 2009 from July 26 to August 4 in
Cambridge, England. The Lawyers Cricket World Cup is the organisation
that regulates a biennial cricket competition played between teams of
lawyers from Commonwealth Countries. Twelve teams will participate.
They are Pakistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Sri Lanka, England
Barristers, England Solicitors, India, New Zealand, South Africa,
Australia, Ireland, Barbados and West Indies. |
