technological horizons beyond the norm, said Dr. Sirimevan Widyasekera,

This is an era where the world is seriously excited over what
animation can do to a story board. Churning out unfathomable hilarious
detail in redefined reality, animated films have written a news-story to
relish, in visual form. Anime has come of age. We know the youth of our
country have been waiting to get into a quality driven study program
with international certification. We are happy to introduce for the
first time in Sri Lanka, the BSc Course in Multimedia from the
University of Wolverhampton. It can take our youth places, said
Dr.Widyasekera.
From web design and development to e-Learning design, digital sound
and video, 3D Animation, image composition, project management to
creative thinking the three year degree program with Edexcel BTEC, the
HND covers every aspect of interactive media at degree level. There is
also a certificate course, a diploma and higher national diploma leading
to the degree.
Avenues may even open up to give our new media graduates a chance in
a lifetime to further their skills with Walt Disney Studios or share the
mythical world of Anime story teller, Hiowa Miyesaki, in his hometown in
Japan.
