Ministry aid for IDP children

The Ministry of Child Development and Women's Empowerment has taken
steps to help the internally displaced children Ministry sources said.
The Ministry has taken action to protect and care for the conflict
affected and displaced children by resettling them with their parents.
Under this program 536 children were sent to the Children's Homes for
safety and 144 children sent to their parents.
A further 356 children are awaiting a court order. Eventually they
will be sent to Children's Homes or to their parents.
The Ministry has decided to help school going children to begin their
studies and provide necessary facilities.
Vocational training will be provided to needy elderly children.
