A captivating smile has that magnetic quality to make many a heart skip many a beat! It is a vibe that draws friends towards you.... and Sri Lankan girls, they say, are endowed with beautiful smiles. So any wonder then selecting contestants for this Mini Title Ms Beautiful Smile was no easy task. the competition resulted in close finishes. Fifteen contestants were chosen after they presented themselves at the Ceylon Continental Hotel last Sunday (August 30). Their photographs and names appear in this page. On arrival at the Hotel, the staff pampered the contestants by welcoming them warmly served the traditional drink of Thambili and they were taken on a guided tour of very special areas of the Hotel. It was an awesome view from the Club Lounges and the presidential suite. The contestants gazed at the Ocean and agreed whole heartedly that at the Ceylon Continental Hotel you get a "view like no other". The excitement continues with the selection of contestants for the Mini Titles - Ms Talent and Ms Personality which will be worked out on September 13 at the SLECC from 10 a.m. onwards. On September 20 the Mini titles for Ms Crowning Glory, Ms Photogenic and Ms Body Beautiful will be held at the pool side of the Ceylon Continental Hotel. Ms Lanka 2009 - Beauty for a Cause is presented by Technique International - The School of Hairdressing and Beauty Theraphy in collaboration with Sunday Observer, Sri Lanka's English Newspaper with the largest circulation. Supporting the event are Radio 1, MAX TV, the Official Hotel - Ceylon Continental Hotel, official Florist - Sterling Flowers, official Computer Facilities - softlogic and Mini Title Venue - Pico event.
