New water proofing sealer by Multilac

Macksons, manufacturers of Multilac Paints, recently launched a product developed to deal with damp walls permanently.

This powerful and effective product can be applied on any damp wall, confirms General Manager, Ramesh Perera.

Perera says that home builders often do not waterproof areas such as bathrooms and the dampness sets in slowly but surely until something must be done. Multilac Water Proofing Sealer is a versatile product that deals with any dampness anywhere in the house, swiftly and permanently.

In the case of a new wall, all you do is apply two coats of Multilac Water Proofing Sealer before the wall tiles or floor tiles are laid on the surface, the inner and the outer walls, the concrete below or the slab above, said Perera.

This breakthrough product is manufactured in Sri Lanka using German technical know-how; it is easy to use and can be applied on any surface. It is essentially a do-it-yourself product which means you do not need highly specialized expertise to apply it. The Multilac Water Proofing Sealer will keep dampness out of the wall permanently. He said that the product's unique formula works in many ways if one coat isn't adequate, a number of coats will take care of the problem. We recommend applying two coats on either side of the wall to ensure permanent sealing of dampness. However, but some may require several layers of Multilac Water Proofing Sealer before results can be achieved.

This revolutionary product is completely free of any harmful or toxic raw material and is safe to be applied even inside water tanks, just apply three coats inside the water tank and two coats outside and leave it to take effect for three days without filling water.

The result is a waterproof tank you can just keep on using, said Perera.

Houses and buildings along the coastal belt is always subject to sea spray that results in a dramatic reduction of the building's lifespan. For example break a column or a beam of a building and surface the steel of the structure. You will always notice decaying steel within, that means the strength, is reducing year after year. Applying two coats of Multilac Water Proofing Sealer will ensure that sea spray will not erode the walls of any building. Research shows that almost everyone has a wall with damp rising, in their home no matter what product is used, the dampness rises and the wall keeps on staying damp and is usually an eyesore. Dampness is often found on inner or outer walls and walls that enclose a bathroom.
