Hi, Young readers, I'm sure you are on the mark of your life to success, setting yourself with right equipment. You may be ready too. But still can't go!

You want to do many things, you might be having lots of hopes and expectations for your future, but nothing is just moving! Is this your problem ? Do you feel that you have got stuck for no reason? Remember, it is an alarm.

Here comes the word "Acceptance". Accept your strengths and weaknesses. If someone alarms you regarding your unpleasant behaviour or any mistake which is going to be harmful to others, then it is always advisable to accept the comment. When we are ready to accept it and change our behaviour the criticism from others will act like a blessing. Usually most of the people think that to accept or to confess their mistakes will tarnish their image. but this is a big misconception. Very surprisingly acceptance of the mistakes committed is also one of the great steps to success.

"Truth is always victorious"; guys this is really true. You need to have a little patience to see the glory of it. When we confess our guilt, the power of truth within us will emerge and this truth has the power to make the person in front of you contented.

The best example of this is the autobiography of Mahathma Gandhi - "My Experience with Truth". In this autobiography Mahathma Gandhi has admitted each and every mistake committed in his life. Every word written in this book is glorified with truth and made it one of the world famous compositions. Gandhi used to say that "Confession of errors is like a broom that sweeps away the dirt and leaves the surface cleaner than before." Even the judicial law has an option to forgive or to minimise the punishment to a criminal if he himself confesses his crime.

Another aspect to this subject is the acceptance of each and every scene in the life drama. Obstacles and difficulties are inevitable in our lives. Life is not a bed of roses. The thorns that emerge in our pathway are the protection for us in one or another way. If not today one day we will be benefited.

To accept people who are in our contact as they are is another quality for a peaceful life. In other words it can be called the “feeling of oneness with others”. The elements that enable us to have the feeling of oneness are unlimited and unconditional love, kindness and good wishes for all irrespective of whatever they are.

The sweet or bitter memories of a relationship, any favour or profit, post and position or even the quality of a person should not be the basis for a happy relationship. It is just to accept them as they are.

Sir Isaac Newton worked several hours everyday for 20 years and wrote down the results of his brilliant research. One day he went out for morning prayers. His pet dog “Diamond” was lying in the room. A few minutes later, it jumped on to the table playfully. The burning candle which was on the table fell on the bundle of manuscripts and caught fire.

Twenty years of hard research were reduced to ashes within minutes. When Newton returned, he was utterly shocked. His precious papers had turned into a handful of ashes. Anyone else would have beaten the dog to death. But Newton simply said looking at his pet “Diamond, you don’t know what you have done”. How great Newton’s heart as his head.

Acceptance is a very strong and ultimate weapon to conquer Ego and Anger, which are the root causes of today’s burning problems. It will make us humble, strong and simple. Accepting yourself as you are, accepting the situations as they are and accepting people in their own self dignity is a very sure path to a peaceful and happy life.
