Big Lady @ Indian kovil
Retired Big Lady was in India recently, praying at a famous kovil,
imploring the Gods to give a hard time for Hand Party leaders and
defence chiefs. Her religious observances cost the life of a cow whose
blood was offered to fulfil the Retired Big Lady's lust for power.
Double standards
Two Elephant Party seniors and one of the leader's close confidants
have cautioned Ra-Blue on the negative impact of the Green Leader's
campaign to stop Jee Es Pee Plus concession from the Union that is
European. Fearing that public anger would be roused, Ra-Blue made a
statement - that he never lobbied to get Jee Es Pee Plus removed.
Champion Losers' Alliance
The Champion Losers' Alliance by bankrupt opposition politicians,
would soon be formed under the 'dis-able' leadership of Ra-Blue. But
many green stalwarts who were opposed to Wedding Sam's presence say that
it would not augur well for the Elephant Party.
Bankrupt alliance
Wedding Sam rang Soome the One-sa, pleading with the Bell Boys to
join the new alliance that they would form under Ra-Blue's leadership.
"We cannot join an alliance of bankrupt politicians rejected by the
masses," Soome said. "But you guys too have been rejected by the
people," Sam retorted.
Sam's choice
Wedding Sam has told Ra-Blue that he would not contest at the next
election that is general. Instead, he would seek a seat at the House of
Diyawanna from the list that is national. Knowing that the political
climate is not good for him in Matara, Wedding Sam has opted for a bonus
seat.
Vaj's spy work
At least three Green provincial leaders from the South are planning
to join the governing types after the election that is provincial.
Fearing that the party would lose even the few Em Pees who would be
elected, Ra-Blue has asked Vaj Abey to do some spy work. |
