Sampath reaches to all segments of society

Sampath Bank the most technologically driven bank is planning to open more branches in the outstations this year in a bid to reach to all segments of the society said Executive Director and CEO of the Bank Harris Premaratne.

He said that all infrastructure requirements are in place and it is a matter of execution.

Sampath plans to be the largest private bank in the North and East this year.

Premaratne said that they together with partner agencies will support the people in the North and East to upgrade industries, Encourage new industries, fisheries, agriculture as well as personal lending.

Sampath bank wants to be a partner in the resurgence of the North and East. He said that they have already started operations in Jaffna by modifying and converting a container into a branch.

He said the bank has opened and linked all branches while all the branches are equipped with ATM machines.

The newly opened Sampath Platinum Plus Centre will offer superior service to its exclusive customers and plans are under way to establish such centres in the key districts of the country, he said. SG
