Standard Chartered Bank has partnered with leading Mobile phone
operators Dialog, Airtel and Etisalat to introduce SMS Banking to its
entire customer base of Savings and Current accountholders while Credit
cardholders enjoy free SMS alerts.
With Standard Chartered Bank's SMS Banking, individual customers
holding a Savings or Current account have the unique ability to access
their account information, view the last three most recent transactions,
request for statements or even cheque books and execute fund transfers
within their own accounts and to nominated third party accounts within
the Bank.
Customers can also receive the latest foreign currency rates and make
utility payments via SMS.These are just some of the many convenient
facilities enabled through this new service channel exclusive to
Standard Chartered Bank customers.
With the free alerts service for Credit cardholders, a Credit
cardholder will receive alerts regarding payment due reminders and
amounts, large transaction alerts, alerts on changes in contact details,
overseas transaction alerts and a whole host of other credit card
related information absolutely free.
