The movie promises to keep the audience rolling in their seats with
laughter. Based on a detective plot Mago Digo Dai also embodies a
romantic strand. As its title, Magodi godai (disorder) suggests, the
story is also a tangle of confusion. A pair of detectives get together
solve a mystery. Sergeant C. K. Perera and PC I. O. Aari are the modern
day Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson - or so they believe themselves
to be! They embark on a daring investigation.
Though they manage to avoid a couple of disasters trouble occurs
wherever they go. After a series of hilarious incidents they believe
that they have found the key to the mystery. When they finally get their
handcuffs around the two criminals all seems well... or is it just
another illusion? More confusion occurs when Perera and Aari realize
that the criminals they have arrested are innocent!
Meanwhile the Minister’s daughter is abducted and that case also
falls on the duos lap. The heads of the police as well as the nation put
their faith on Perera and Aari and even provide them with a police dog
to help along with their investigation. This is more than they have
bargained for because the dog is a magnet for disaster. Yapa
Vijeybandara handled the camera while Sanjaya Nipunarachchi did the make
up. The music was directed by Neil Warnakulasuriya and the Gretian
Ananda, Uresha Ravihari, Gamini Susiriwardena and Neil Warnakulasuriya
rendered their voices for background vocals. The movie will be released
on the EAP circuit soon. |
