Delicious Pudding Cocktail

For all those women who have had a hard time avoiding the dessert buffet, here’s good news from Cinnamon Grand! They have introduced the all-new Pudding Cocktail that combines the delicious taste of a dessert with a liquid drink to quench your thirst. Even if you’re too full to sample every dessert and if you want an after-dinner drink, the Pudding Cocktail is the answer! PR Manager of Cinnamon Grand Tharika Goonetileke said, “In keeping with our motto of affordable indulgence, we wanted to offer a new twist of a traditional dessert by launching the Pudding Cocktail from the first of this month.”

The Pudding Cocktail is a mini-version of a dessert and is great as a drink after a hard day’s work or just catching up with a few friends. For anyone with a discerning sweet tooth but conscious about their figure, the Pudding Cocktail is the best choice.

The brains behind the new concept was Manager of Beverages, Hemant Dadlani who said, “The inspiration for the Pudding Cocktail was essentially something different to a typical dessert cocktail where I wanted to preserve the flavours but make it into a liquid so that it is not only easy to drink but easy to digest.” Capturing the flavours in its original form so that the taste is sampled and making sure that the transformation was optimum was what the experienced team at Cinnamon Grand have achieved. The liquid is set in perfectly in the cocktail glass and the other ingredients accompany it.

“When it comes to more solid desserts like the Chocolate Biscuit Pudding, we set the cashew nuts, Marie biscuits over the rim of the glass and added the chocolate mousse liquid inside to create the taste of the ideal dessert in a blended dessert delight,” he said.

The tantalising dessert is available at Coffee Stop and most of the restaurants and eateries at the Cinnamon Grand and can be ordered in nine exciting variants. “We have Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Cheesecake, Panna Cotta, Lemon Cheesecake, Jelly Custard, Tiramisu, Wood Apple Parfait, Chocolate Biscuit Pudding and Backed Alaska” said Dadlani.

The Beverages Manager said, “I would highly recommend anyone to definitely try it because it is an indulgence not to be missed and it is worth trying.” The Pudding Cocktail has to be the first dessert beverage launched in Sri Lanka by Cinnamon Grand hotel.
