Sunset - Full Moon session by High Wave:
Sri Lanka Navy Jetliner on party cruise
The luxury Sri Lanka Navy vessel "Jetliner" will offer a treat for
party-goers on its first ever grand cruise on Friday.
Organised by the High Wave Entertainments, the Jetliner will carry
350 very special guests on her majestic voyage along the Western coastal
waters amid the prevailing South-West monsoon. High Wave event Manager,
Sanjaya Prithiva said the event has been organised to provide high
quality and unique party experience to their guests.
"We have perceived quality party entertainment in Sri Lanka in the
context of the booming leisure industry. Decent, safe and quality party
entertainment is hard to find these days. This is exactly what we are
going to provide in collaboration with the Navy's Jetliner", he said.
Elaborating on the party concept, he said that the Cruise is a theme
very popular among the high spending party-goers around the world.
"Sunset and Full Moon Party Cruise is carefully selected to give the
maximum cruise party experience to our guests at a reasonable cost. Our
goal is to provide tourists, expatriates and Sri Lankans the much
awaited opportunity for a safe and secure night-outing experience that
would bring true value for their money", he said.
Sanjaya added that the gala event would provide a wide range of
entertainment. "We encourage our guests to start early on Friday. We are
going to set sail sharp at 6 p.m., at sunset. We will be serving an open
on-the-deck cocktails with live Jazz music played by the 'band C'.
"Once the ship enters the Colombo harbour, the dance floor opens at
the grand ballroom where DJ Max and Rosh will rock the party until the
wee hours.
Jazz music will be continued under a gleaming moonlight. The dancing
pageant by 'Ethnic' fusion dance group will give it best performance to
entertain the crowds," he added. There will be a special shuttle service
from the public car park of the Chalmers Granary near the Wimaladharma
Clock Tower to the port to board the SLN Jetliner.
