IPM - Career guidance workshop
The Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka, the nation's leader
in Human Resource Management embarks on yet another initiative aimed at
developing human talent.
The institute is to conduct a career guidance workshop to help
youngsters take the correct decisions and moves at vital junctions in
their careers.
Dharshana Amarasinghe, a Marketing and Human Resource Development
professional will conduct the program. He will touch on some critical
areas for success in making career moves from a very early stage of
life.
"Why do some people reach the highest in their career while another
fail? Why are some successful and some not, even with the same
qualifications? All these are interesting questions to ask yourselves,
if you are just about to start your career" says Dharshana.
"There are a few pieces that need to fit perfectly in the jigsaw
puzzle, to make the best of your career, of course with a little bit of
luck". Chairman of the young members' forum, IPM, Priyankara Seneviratne
said "We expect a packed house.
This is a timely topic that anyone who is just about to start their
career cannot afford to miss. It's an open invitation to everyone.
Entrance is free. The event is scheduled for July 25, from 09.00
am-12.30 pm at the IPM, HR House, No. 43, Vijaya Kumaranathunge Mawatha,
Colombo 05.
