Senanayake Central College, Chilaw in four of five finals

VOLLEYBALL: It's a fine achievement for spikers from Senanayake
Central College, Chilaw to qualify to play in four of the five finals in
the DSI Super Sports School Volleyball Championships conducted by the
Sri Lanka Schools Volleyball Association. The final round matches were
completed in Badulla in the Boys and Girls under-14, Boys and Girls
under-16 and boys and girls under-18. According to organisers high
standard of volleyball was displayed by the young and up and coming
spikers.
The finals of the three age categories both boys and girls will be
worked off on July 23 and 24 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.
The finalists are - Boys under-14 - Senanayake Central College Chilaw
vs Davisamara College, Seeduwa. Vijayaba Vidyalaya, Thotagamuwa took the
third position.
Girls under-14 - Dharmapala Vidyalaya Eheliyagoda vs Model Primary
School Ibbagamuwa. The third place was won by St. Bernadeth's Vidyalaya
Polgahawela.
Boys under-16 - Senanayake Central College, Chilaw vs Rajasinghe
Central College, Ruwanwella. Third place went to Dhammissara Central
College, Nattandiya.
Girls under-16 - Central College Anamaduwa vs St. Bernadeth's
Vidyalaya Third place was won by Mihindupura Vidyalaya, Trincomalee.
Boys under-18 - Senanayake Central College, Chilaw vs Dammissara
Vidyalaya, Nattandiya. Third place won by Davisamara Vidyalaya, Seeduwa.
Girls under-18 - Senanayake Central College, Chilaw vs Central
College Anamaduwa. Third place won by Kadugabbawa Maha Vidyalaya, Kandy.
