Lanka produces world’s first Carbon Neutral Bra

United Kingdom based Marks & Spencer retail stores has put on sale the world’s first Carbon Neutral Bra that had been made in Sri Lanka recently.

“The Green bra” which is part of the Mark & Spencer’s new Autograph Leaves lingerie collection, has had its carbon footprint independently certified by the Carbon Trust Footprinting Certification Company. The collection is manufactured at the Mark & Spencer eco-factory MAS Intimates in Thurulie.

After making their calculation the Carbon Trust Footprinting Certification Company had analysed the entire life cycle of the range, which includes four styles of bras, three knickers and a set of suspenders.
