Indika Ferdinando’s Colombo Colombo will be staged at the Elphinstone
Theatre, Colombo 10 on May 7 at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.
The show is organised by the Sadjana Sahurda Sansadaya.
Colours, couture and crafts with Seneka de Silva on ‘Celeb Chat’
Senaka de Silva is a man of many parts – craft designer, couturier,
costume designer, choreographer, interior designer all rolled into one.

from classes at Cora Abraham’s Melbourne Art School and classical ballet
at the Oosha Garten of Western Ballet … to mastering the art of
hand-painted batiks and tie and die fabrics … from drawing inspiration
from the myriad colours around him and rigorously training models for
the catwalk … to taking his brand of Sri Lankan 'haute couture' to the

Hindi Language Courses at the Indian Cultural Centre
Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo is announcing it’s Hindi Language
Classes for the year 2011-12. The new batch will be starting from May 4.
The courses offered are: 100 course of Kendriya Hindis Sansthan Agra and
Proficiency in Hindi Language course conceived by the Indian Cultural
centre, Colombo. Both the courses are for the beginners in learning the
language. However, the Proficiency in Hindi Language course text books
are in Sinhala and in Hindi and it will be appropriate for those who
want learn the basics in Sinhala.
Cultural forums in the ICC
The Indian Cultural Centre Colombo, in its process of expansion of
activities is forming a few Forums/Clubs. These forums are conceived to
streamline the Centre’s activities and give more focus on the subject of
the programme based on the interest of the audience.
The art loving community of Sri Lanka can become members of the
Forums by filling up the application form available at the Indian
Cultural Centre, 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7. The members of the
Forums can have opinions on the programmes that have to be conducted at
ICC and their participation will be contributing to the quality of each
of the programme.

Charitha Hatak by Wilson Gunaratne will go on the boards at the
Bishop's College's auditorium, Colombo on May 15 at 3.00 p.m. and 7.30
p.m. The show is a fundraiser for HelpAge projects.
