Sri Lankan U-15 win all matches - Champs

Cricket: The Under-15 cricket team selected by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association won the Tunkku Jaffar Challenge Cup for the forth consecutive year at the International Under-15 Cricket Championships held at the Biomas Oval in Malaysia from the third to the tenth April.

Sri Lanka won all the matches they played against South Africa and Malaysia the other two countries that participated.

Madhawa Nimesh Fernando of Royal College, Panadura led the Sri Lanka lads with Pathum Madhusanka of St. Joseph's College Colombo, as the Vice - Captain. The five 40-over matches that the Sri Lanka team played:

Sri Lanka: 191/10 in 40 overs (Dineth Thimodya 37, Pathum Madhusanka 52, Sithara Gimhana 29, Vidusha de Silva 3/26).
