CNCI Achiever Awards 2011
The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) will present its
Achiever Awards for Industrial & Service Excellence for the 10th
consecutive year.
The Achiever Awards were designed by the CNCI to recognise and reward
industrial and manufacturing enterprises who reach excellence in their
operational sectors; who contribute to the economy, social welfare and
economic development; and to encourage these enterprises to reach
further heights in their spheres of operation. Sri Lankan Industries who
operate in SAARC countries are also eligible to participate in the
competition.
Also SAARC country specific industries nominated and recommended by
their Chambers of Industries and Commerce can compete to receive SAARC
country specific gold awards.
The objective of this awarding system is to establish closer
bi-lateral relations and the enhancement of goodwill between Sri Lanka
and the countries of the SAARC region.
The competition is open in the Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small and
Micro Sector classifications in the Industry, Manufacturing and Service
sectors in diversified fields.
The CNCI every year nominates difficult districts for Micro sector
enterprises.
Applicants for the CNCI Achiever Awards are subjected to an advanced
awards and stringent evaluation procedure by an eminent panel of judges.
The presentation of awards will take place on August 30, at the Hotel
Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
