LIC introduces Pure Life Insurance

Life Insurance Corporation (Lanka) Ltd (LIC) recently launched a low cost life insurance product to the market. The product - Pure Life Insurance, provides life insurance benefits at a very low cost and customers are free to choose the period of life insurance coverage they need.

Everyone needs life insurance coverage, but only a few can afford it as premiums are costly. Pure Life Insurance makes life insurance coverage affordable because its premiums are low. LIC's Pure Life Insurance policy offers an opportunity to persons with low income but have a large family of dependants.

CEO/Managing Director LIC Lanka Jagannath said that the policy provides financial benefits in the event of death.

The primary aim of the policy is to fulfil financial responsibilities of a person to his family in the event of his death. The premium is very small if the policy is taken for a long period.
