IDB selected for productivity program
The Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) has selected the Industrial
Development Board (IDB) to implement the Productivity Demonstration
Consultancy (Public) Project (PDCP), said IDB Chairman Udayasri
Kariyawasam.
He said the nine-month project will provide training in the
application of productivity tools and techniques in the public sector,
industry, service and agriculture sectors. The APO had called for
proposals from public and private sector organisations for a project.
The IDB Chairman said the resource person for the project Richard
Clarke will arrive in Sri Lanka next month to provide technical
expertise in productivity innovation.
