International Rugby Board (IRB) through the Sri Lanka Rugby Football
Union (SLRFU).
He said all rugby playing schools and Clubs including Kandy Sports
Club will be donated with good quality rugby balls. Some of the girls
schools in Kandy and outskirts who are keen on playing rugby, will be
also presented with rugger balls and these schools and clubs were
selected by Chairman Rugby Development CPRFU Viper Gunaratne (Snr) and

This distribution of rugger balls is taking place after a lapse of 3
years in the Central Province and the clubs and schools should benefit
much from it. Mohan Samarakoon said that a seven-a-side rugby tournament
for lesser known clubs will be conducted at the Aruppola Municipal
