Mr & Miss Western City final in two weeks

The excitement begins for those who sought to have a place in the Mr & Miss Western City title, the gateway to Mr & Miss Sri Lanka 2011. The good news for these contestants is that on July 9 the selection will take place at the Ice Lounge at Horton Place, Colombo 7 and Mr & Miss Western City will be crowned in a pageant laced with splendour that should not be missed. Nine lissome girls and nine guys with brain and brawn will vie for the titles which will open the doors to success in the future. According to the Presenters, Big Time Makers, numerous entries have been received from Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Galle, Jaffna and Colombo, and they are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and interest shown by the contestants.

Mr & Miss Sri Lanka 2011 will give the opportunity to compete for not only Miss Earth but also Miss Tourism International, Model of the World, Asian Model Search and Petite International.

Today June 26 in the last day for the regional events, but however the Presenters will accept late entries up to June 28 so hurry mail your entry to the Presenters, 27/3 A, Hotel Road, Mount Lavinia.

Please remember if by some chance you are unable to qualify through one regional event, then you stand a second chance of qualifying for the National Event through another Regional Event.

Miss Earth sets itself apart from all other pageants. Through global network and local affiliates its environmental message is spread fast and reaches far. For ten years Miss Earth has delivered what is now an iconic image, beauty candidates getting their hands dirty for worthy causes. Each year Miss Earth continues to expand, attracting women with sincere concern to make a contribution to society; confident that a difference is made.
