Double triumph for Trinity and Mahamaya at Kids and Junior Meet

ATHLETICS: Trinity College, Kandy and Mahamaya Girls College, Kandy
won the boys and girls Kids and Junior Athletics Championships held last
week at the Bogambara Stadium.
In the boys championship, the overall trophy was won by Trinity
College with 182 points while in the Kids Championship, Trinity came on
top with 47 points.
Among the girls, Mahamaya College came on top with 167 points while
among the Kids Mahamaya came on top with 47 points..
Boys championship: 1. Trinity College, Kandy 182 points, 2. St.
Anthony's College, Katugastota 142 points, 3. Dharmaraja College, 80
points, 4. Vidyartha College, 65 points 5. St. Sylvester's College 60
points.
Kids (boys) Championships:1. Trinity College, Kandy 47 points, 2. St.
Anthony's College 27 points, 3. C.I.S. Kandy 25 points, 4. Dharmaraja
College 23 points; 5. Chandrananda Kandy 22 points.
Girls Championship: 1. Mahamaya Girls College 167 points, 2. Girls
High School, Kandy 101 points; 3. St. Anthony's Balika, Katugastota 72
points; 4. Beraverts, Ampitiya 65 points; 5. A. Ratnayake, Walala 62
points. Kids (Girls - Championship): 1. Mahamaya Kandy and Galagedera
Primary 47 points, 3. Girls High School, Kandy 23 points, 4. Hillwood,
Kandy 11 points, 5. Gateway International 9 points, 6. Sussex
International 7 points.
