Micro car opens branch in Athugalpura

Micro car opened its third branch in Kurunegala recently. Dr. Lawrence Perera, Chairman of the Micro Car Company was present. The new branch is along the Kurunegala-Kandy Road near Athkande Vihara. In 1999, Dr. Lawrence Perera turned out the first car in Sri Lanka.

The company has not only limited the range to cars but is also manufacturing vans, jeeps, buses and tractors. It has opened branches in Kandy and Matara. The company is expected to open branches in Anuradhapura, Ratnapura and Jaffna in the near future. Steps have been taken already to distribute spare parts through their agents throughout the country.
