Olcott Memorial Cricket tournament from December 2 to 4 at Matara

CRICKET: Eight schools in the island namely Ananda College, Dharmaraja College, Kandy, Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya, Maliyadeva College, Kurunegala, Mahinda College, Galle, Nalanda College and Rahula College Matara will be seen in action at the 13th Col. Henry Steel Olcott Memorial Cricket Tournament to be played at the Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara on December 2, 3 and 4.

The annual tournament first played in 1999 to honour Co.Steele Olcott - the founder of Buddhist education in Sri Lanka, is hosted this year by the OBA of Rahula College, Matara together with the Colombo Branch of the Rahula OBA and the Rahula Old Cricketers Association this year. Hambantota MP Namal Rajapaksa will be the chief guest at the awards presentation.
