Overall Gold for DIMO

Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) won the overall Gold award at the National Business Excellence Awards 2011.

The National Business Excellence Awards is an annual award competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) to recognise business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business, whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.

DIMO won Gold awards in four other categories, collecting the most number of Gold awards and most number of awards at the event. Gold awards were won for Excellence in Business and Financial Performance, Excellence in Performance Management Practices, Diversified Group of Companies Sector and for the Extra Large Category.
