Applications called for University scholarships

The Parent Memorial Scholarship Foundation invites applications from students who are economically disadvantaged and qualified to enter the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Management and Law (including Science, Maths and Arts) to apply for the same.

Selected applicants will be awarded Rs. 1,500 per month during the first year of the university studies.

Disabled students are also eligible to apply.

The following documents should be enclosed with the application:

1. GCE (A/L) 2011 exam certified by the Principal 2. A letter from Grama Niladhari certifying the genuine situation of the family, their monthly income and the source of income. Samurdhi beneficiary families are also entitled to apply. 3. A testimonial from the chief incumbent of a religious institution in the village, 4. Self-prepared application including full name, address, date of birth, NIC Number, Signature and the results of the examinations.
