Bartleet Finance launches 'Bilindu' Children's Savings Account
Bartleet Finance PLC, a member of the Bartleet Group, launched the
'Bilindu' Children's Savings Account, designed to give every child born
at the Castle Street Hospital for women, a bank account with a cash
deposit. It was launched under the patronage of Chairman Dharma
Dheerasinghe, Ms Sybil Wettasinghe and Board of Directors of Bartleet
Finance PLC.
The Bartleet 'Bilindu' Children's Savings account is themed 'Born
rich'. The Bilindu Savings Account is for children up to five years.
Bartleet Finance has introduced the Bartleet 'Bindu' Savings Account for
children from five to 12 , while the Bartleet Smart Teen Account is for
youth aged between s 12 to 18 years.
At the opening of the 'Bilindu' Savings Account, a deposit of Rs 500
is made to the account by the company.
A competitive rate of interest is offered while various gifts and
cash prizes will be offered according to the age groups. Cash prizes are
on offer to children who pass the GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level
examinations.
The Executive Director of Bartleet Finance PLC, S. Raghavan said,

the economy and the living conditions of the people of this country. As
