Tradition and glory in style

For the first time in the history of the Northern province a competition for youth to showcase their talent and personality was on the cards.Studio 9 has done a tremendous task in persuading the youth to come out of their groove and celebrate life, like their counterparts in other provinces.

They have been groomed for the past three months to increase their level of confidence.

At the end of the complimentary course they will receive certificates, after which they will vie for the coveted titles of Mr. and Miss Northern Province.

The contest takes place on March 31 at the Tilko Jaffna City Hotel, coupled with entertainment.

Anusha Herbal Salon will transform the youth into beautiful women and handsome men. Twenty finalists will take centre stage from five districts of the North.

The northern province audience are looking forward to this event which will be attended by dignitaries and VIPs of the north.

The Sunday Observer, Thinakaran and Dan TV are the media promoters, while Ganesh Textiles, Cauvery and Topaz are the sponsors of the outfits. Green Grass Hotel is the hospitality partner while Fuji is the official film.
