Oil anointing ceremony

The State sponsored oil anointing ceremony will be held at the auspicious hour at 7.08 today am at the Natha Devalaya premises of the Sri Dalada Maligawa under the patronage of Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne, said Indigenous Medicine Minister Salinda Dissanayake. It is organised by the Indigenous Medicine Ministry, Ayurvedic Department and Central Province Provincial Council, the Minister said.

He said the Ayurvedha Department has supplied 50,000 packets of Nanu to be used at the oil anointing ceremony.
