Survey on crocodiles
 Agrarian Services and Wildlife Minister S.M. Chandrasena said that
steps have been taken to conduct a survey on crocodiles in the country
amid an apparent rapid increase in the number of crocodiles. Sri Lanka
is currently facing a new crisis of a man-crocodile conflict. Around 25
people were attacked by crocodiles last year.
