Paul Penders Cosmetics to open salon in Colombo

Paul Penders Cosmetics, a top mineral cosmetic manufacturer from the USA will open a showroom cum beauty salon in Colombo.

The cosmetics are made from hundred percent organic sources, a spokesman for the Company said. Paul Penders will be located at Harcourts Wellness Centre at R A De Mel Mawatha, Colombo 3.

The founder chairman will inaugurate the salon on June 1, 2012. It will be managed by Ms. Sue Wickramaratne , a renowned beautician and consultant.

"Although it is a unisex salon it will be dedicated more for women. Each Paul Penders product is infused with ' essence of life' or 'Levers Essentie Gold' a 100- year- old traditional formulation of Penders.This unique herbal extract combining 22 herbs eastern and western to restore balance and vitality to the skin and hair similar to ancient ayurvedic practices where herbs are used to balance the body, mind and spirit", the spokesman said.

Chairman of Harcourts Group and Paul Penders Lanka Ltd., Ahamed Rheyas, said that Paul Penders won the USA Award for cosmetics 2008, 2009 and 2010 and an award in the UK in 2009. Rheyas said that this was a breakthrough for the cosmetic industry.
