Union Bank conducts Free Advisory Service
Union Bank conducted its 10th SME customer training workshop in
Chilaw recently. The workshop was jointly organised with the Puttalam
District Chamber of Commerce. UBC launched its Free Advisory Services as
a value addition to the growth of this sector and focuses on
entrepreneur development and business management. Coordinated by the
Development Banking Division of UBC the program themed 'Entrepreneurship
Development' included a training schedule on enhancing knowledge and
skills level of the participants on business conduct, change management
and efficient working capital management.
National Trainer and District Coordinator of the National
Productivity Secretariat, Geeth Rajapaksha facilitated the program and
spoke on 'Proper Planning, Productivity and Management' while Senior
Manager, Development Banking of Union Bank Deepal Liyanage conducted a
session on 'Importance of Maintaining Proper and Continuous Cash Flow'.
The workshops will also be held in Anuradhapura, Badulla, Ratnapura
and Ambalangoda shortly.
