President returns
President Mahinda Rajapaksa returned to the island yesterday morning
after concluding his visits to Britain and Italy.
During the first leg of his visit, he attended the Diamond Jubilee
Celebrations of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and also met the Queen at a
luncheon hosted by Commonwealth Secretary General Kamalesh Sharma in
London.
